The Colorado resort invites you to enjoy the fresh Rocky Mountain air and take part in ultimate Colorado adventures this summer at both of its locations at Estes Park Center and Snow Mountain Ranch in Granby, Colorado. From the increasingly popular pickleball sport to heart pumping rock climbing, the Colorado Resorts offer an array of activities to keep you busy during the summer months. “Whether it’s capture the flag and kick-ball games on the open fields, daily educational sessions with our trained staff on topics like wildlife ecology and stargazing, or campfire singalongs, we create summer experiences for our guests to unplug and connect with nature, and each other, in a meaningful way,” says Kellen Toulouse, Marketing Director of YMCA of the Rockies.

The pet-friendly resort prioritizes personal interaction and offers many guest rooms free from televisions. Guest rooms range from affordable hotel-style lodge rooms with common areas perfect for groups traveling together, and pet-friendly multi-bedroom private cabins featuring wrap-around porches, full kitchens, and a variety of sleeping options including bunk beds. Pack your hiking shoes and keep an eye out for wildlife on the Enger Family Nature Trail, a new pet-friendly hiking and walking loop that winds along Glacier Creek located on the property’s 860 acres bordering Rocky Mountain National Park. Take a step back in time and learn the history of Rocky Mountain National Park during a master naturalist class. Available at Estes Park center, the class will focus on teaching guests all things nature, including birding, geology, plants and wildflowers.

Dog lovers will enjoy Hanging with the Huskies, a new activity available at Snow Mountain Ranch that allows guests to get up close and personal with members of the Snow Mountain Ranch dogsled team. You can also play with the pooches in the dog park. Embrace your luxe side with glamping opportunities at the ranch, with accommodation available for up to six guests. Children are also invited to take part in the fun. Day Camps will be available at both properties for children ages 3 -17, Monday through Friday from early June through mid-August.
