 “We really felt that Aspen was a natural fit for a White Elephant property,” says Justin Todd, managing director of the hotel. “Embarc architects designed the rugged and refined elements, building a contemporary mountain structure just a short walk from the best of everything Aspen has to offer.”

Suite living is the cornerstone at the White Elephant Aspen. “We offer three signature suites, including the Ajax penthouse. At 1,600 square feet with a living room, two full bathrooms, a chef’s kitchen, and a 900-square-foot attached outdoor living space, this is what we consider the crown jewel of the hotel,” says Todd.

The West End suite and the Highlands suite both offer multiple bedrooms and baths, separate living rooms, a kitchen, and a spacious patio space. One-bedroom suites contain two full bathrooms, a separate living area, and a top-of-the-line Murphy bed that is made up with premier bedding at turn-down if requested. 

The swimming pool is heated and open year-round. Surrounded by comfortable seating, two hot tubs, two fireplaces, and towel and robe warmers, it’s a perfect place to relax or savor a coffee. Likewise, the private garden is ideal for multitasking while reaping the benefits of Aspen’s Colorado sunshine.

Dining at Lola 41, or cocktails at Below 41 will make your stay a memorable one. The menu features delectable dishes with Asian and Mediterranean influences. Room service and poolside dining are also available.

The concierge team plays an all- important role in fulfilling guests’ needs during their stay. They can arrange transportation in a BMW courtesy car. The boot lounge makes it a pleasure to don heated ski or snowboard boots, and a shuttle will take guests to any of the surrounding ski areas.

At the end of a long day, a ski concierge will ensure that equipment is carefully and safely stowed, helping guests head for a chic après-ski cocktail or small bites. “As a bespoke luxury boutique hotel, it is our absolute pleasure to accommodate our guests’ needs in any way we are able,” says Todd.
