I found myself wandering up Tennyson Street recently after visiting the Horseshoe Market, and I fell hard for this bohemian corridor in northwest Denver. The vibrant walking district offers variety—BookBar, Spruce Barber and Clothier, Sarah O. Jewelry, Feral Mountain Co., Real Baby, Berkeley Untapped, Biju’s Little Curry Shop, Denver Biscuit Company—and hands-on action.

Events include butchery classes at Il Porcellino Salumi, story time at Second Star to the Right Children’s Books, teen happy hour at BookBar, a fourteener series at Feral, meet-and-greet socials at Allegro Coffee, karaoke night at Local 46 and a variety of cultural entertainment at The Oriental Theater. Historically rich and way cool.
