Lola 41 Joins the Aspen Dining Scene
Chic and laid-back, the eatery offers fare featuring Asian and Mediterranean influences.

Lola 41 Aspen, located in the White Elephant Hotel, is making its mark with innovative, flavorful dishes originating from the global path of the 41st parallel, including Europe, the Mediterranean Sea and Asia. “Our menu is one that features fresh, sustainable seafood, a broad selection of sushi and delectable salads and pasta,” says CEO of Lola Hospitality Holdings, Katharine Schade.

Lola 41 Chef, Seth Halpin, sources as many local ingredients as possible from the surrounding Roaring Fork Valley. A chef’s box menu, separate from the daily selections, is composed of chef’s specials, drink offerings, seasonal items and alpine selections exclusive to Aspen. Lola 41 Aspen was designed to associate the brand with an elevated Western perspective. “The space feels deeply connected to Aspen while continuing to embrace the established brand identity,” explains Schade. “We feel strongly about working with local farmers because we believe in the importance of supporting our local businesses and economy.”
41 Below is a hidden speakeasy on the lower level of the restaurant. Private and discreet, the space can be reserved for smaller events and corporate gatherings. “Most wouldn’t even know it is there,” says Schade. “Its sort of an IYKYK spot.”

“The partnership between the restaurant and hotel is a fruitful one, says Schade. “Our high energy, daily happy hour is a big success.” The partnership produces a bespoke, luxe atmosphere that serves as a wonderful escape. The restaurant’s vibe revolves around the locals and visitors experiencing Aspen’s popular music and art scene and includes a hearty crowd of outdoor recreation enthusiasts.
“The response to the restaurant has been overwhelmingly positive and the word has gotten out quickly,” says Schade. “We opened the week prior to the Aspen Food & Wine Festival, so we were near the action from day one. We also see many baked-in regulars who have experienced dining at one or more of our sister locations in Nantucket Island, Palm Beach, FL, Naples, FL and Boston, MA.”

“Every experience is something special,” Schade notes. “Surrounded by those celebrating special events, the atmosphere is buzzing. It’s one of the most exciting spots in town.”
