A new hotel is opening in Vail just in time for the 2019-2020 ski season. Anchoring West Vail, Highline, the 116-room modern mountain resort, provides accommodations and amenities for at-home comfort with style.

The cozy Vail hotel includes stylish guestrooms and spacious residential loft suites reminiscent of classic ski chalets, a pool, hot tub and fireplace that frames the idyllic mountains and 5,755 square feet of flexible indoor/outdoor meeting and event space.

Close to Vail Village, Highline also offers guests complimentary door-to-mountain transportation, onsite gear rentals, storage and boot dryers.

Highline, too, is a community gathering place—for locals and visitors alike—to enjoy a game of lobby shuffleboard, or après relaxation at Pivot62, the onsite restaurant and bar, featuring award-winning cocktails and Vail’s only wood-burning pizza oven.

The refined, rustic design by architectural and design firm Baskervill cements a mountain escape experience at Highline, providing modern conveniences coupled with the sophistication of a contemporary ski chalet.

An elevated cabin-in-the woods aesthetic can be found throughout the property, from the A-frame communal lobby and restaurant, to cozy guestrooms and spacious residential loft suites.

The design features weathered woods, slate and sleek leather accents in a palette of soothing neutrals, drawing influence from the surrounding landscape, and punctuated by regionally-inspired art pieces and fixtures.
