Toasting and Tasting at Boulder’s Rosetta Hall
Eat, drink and dance the night away
Add Boulder’s Rosetta Hall to the growing list of 303-drinking-and-dining conglomerations. Formerly The Foundry on Walnut Street, this space has been transformed—elegant marble tables, crystal lighting, multilevel seating, plush pillows, bars on both levels and an outdoor rooftop patio with fire pits.
Ten globally diverse culinary stalls include West African, French, Italian, Asian, New American and contemporary Mexican cuisine. I went with friends, and we loved Eridu’s Grain Risotto with Hazel Dell mushrooms, Gouda cheese and farm egg; Tierra’s Cured Carrot Tacos with salsa negra; and the Po’ghana boy sandwich from Jacaranda.
On Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings, DJs spin for the over-21 crowd, as Rosetta transforms into a nightclub and dance hall. Keep your eyes peeled for a second food hall in Boulder, Avanti Food & Beverage, slated to open in June in the former Cheesecake Factory space on Pearl Street.
