Inspiration: “Here I took an easily recognizable and iconic style—'40s Hollywood glamour—and gave it a modernized, updated treatment.”
Who It's For: “I imagine this kitchen on the 22nd floor of a downtown condominium tower. The owner tends to be a little traditional, but is looking for a more modern edge for the décor, to match the contemporary architecture of the building.”
Designer's Tip: “Because it's finish-driven (and not so much about the particular layout), this style can work with just about any size kitchen.”
