The Top Spot to Get Margs on a Patio
Summer dining just got a lot more fun!
Combine a celebratory vibe on an intimate back patio with possibly the best margaritas in Denver and you’ve found Perdida, the newly opened Mexican eatery on Old South Gaylord in Wash Park.
Surf videos play in a loop on the wall, a vintage turquoise Volkswagen bus anchors the outdoor patio (yes, you can eat in it), and the colorful Mexico-sourced artisan decor makes you feel as if you’re in a Baja surf town.
Chef Philippe Failyau’s menu features fresh coastal Mexico cuisine, ranging from made-to-order guacamole with house chips, chile-crusted carnitas tacos, and wood-fired ribeye carne asada to a simple but stunning fajitas platter, tuna aguchile, and-my personal fave-seared scallops with rice fritters and guajillo coconut sauce.
Failyau’s flavorful selections are beautifully presented, and a variety of price points make it an inviting spot for happy hour or fine dining.
Perdida was created by Gastamo Group, owners of Park Burger, Birdcall, and Homegrown Tap & Dough.
