The Holiday Market Returns to Cherry Creek With Exciting new Vendors
This year’s market will offer live music, kid’s programs and a multitude of holiday shopping
For its third consecutive year, the Denver Cherry Creek Holiday Market will return to its location on the Fillmore Plaza in Cherry Creek North. This year’s market will offer an enhanced event experience with over 50 makers, designers and creators set to deliver a one-stop entertainment and shopping experience with unique items for holiday gifting. Live music, food, libations and hand-held treats will make celebrating the holidays a joyful experience for the entire family.
Fletch Concepts production manager Kenny Nelson says that this year’s market will be able to operate with fewer Covid restrictions and provide a genuine, traditional experience for attendees. “We introduced the market at the height of the pandemic,” he explains. “Since then, things have improved to give us a chance to bring in more vendors and new variety each week of the market run.”
The market serves as a small business vendor incubator and introduces attendees to unique gift items they might not find anywhere else. Nelson says many vendors carry items that were in great demand last year. “We have a family-owned vendor from Peru that makes Alpaca stuffed toys for children. Last year, their five-foot-tall Alpaca display sold—so they’re bringing a few of those to meet customer demand this year.” Likewise, he says, “our puzzle vendor will have new puzzles to choose from, plus our tea vendor will stock single service tea sachets so customers can mix-and-match teas to curate a customized gift.”
Wednesdays are designated kid’s days with children’s music programming and crafts. Each evening, adults can sip libations as they shop around with live music Wednesday through Sunday. The first three Saturdays in December will present Saturday Night Lights, complete with hot chocolate and buskers. Non-alcoholic beverages are always available, and live dance performances will add to the holiday cheer.
Nelson points out that the Cherry Creek North businesses often hold mini-events in conjunction with the market, and “the synergy between the Holiday Market and the area business community is fantastic.”
The Cherry Creek Holiday Market runs from November 17 through December 24, making it the metro area’s longest-running, 38-day holiday market attraction. Market hours and event schedules change daily, and each day will offer new and spectacular attendee experiences.
