Denver’s newest cocktail lounge Bezel is home to unique drinks, savory bites and refined ambiance. Located in the lobby of the Sheraton hotel, the floor-to-ceiling windows offer a stunning view of the 16th Street Mall. Upon stepping inside the golden entrance, guests are greeted by the sounds of shaken drinks and the occasional live DJ.
Denver transplant and General Manager Ravin Buzzell brings 23 years of industry experience to the establishment. With goals to create the go-to elevated nightlife experience in Denver, Buzzell is in the works of crafting a new menu. Guests can forgo the menu entirely and opt for a curated cocktail— just tell the team what kinds of flavors you enjoy and they craft something unique.
“My goal with Bezel is to meld the past with the future and take it over the top,” says Buzzell. “Think outlandish garnishes that you will have to experience for yourselves and things people haven’t seen before in Denver.”
The craft cocktails are as much eye-candy as they are delicious. You’ll want to grab a seat at the bar to watch the magic of making the cocktail. The ice in certain cocktails is stamped with the Bezel logo while other libations are given a decadent garnish, like a sugar-coated rose petal. Drink selection aside, the service presentation is a form of elevated entertainment.
Can’t decide on what to try? For a unique taste, sip “The Same-Same”, a Thai-inspired tequila drink that will woo tastebuds. And for the less adventurous, a classic Old Fashioned.
Locals and travelers can enjoy Bezel for an early evening cocktail, or as the it-spot for a luxurious downtown evening. With chic comfortable seating and outdoor firepits, this locale is enjoyable all year round.
