The 2020 AIA Colorado Design Award Winners

This year’s winning residential projects, awarded by the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Colorado, were designed by architecture firms across Colorado and were recognized for innovative uses of materials, space and design, and for reimaging what “home” can mean.

Art Barn is a 6,200 SF residence designed for gathering around and displaying various forms of mixed media contemporary art. The owners use the residence for engagement with the art community and raising awareness of the arts by hosting events supporting local entities and housing visiting artists.
