Amidst golden aspen trees, bodacious mountains and colorful Colorado culture, Crested Butte’s annual (and free-spirited) film festival returns to showcase the power of storytelling. The four-day international festival screens 100 films spanning the genres of narratives, documentaries, outdoor adventures, children’s movies, and short films from September 26-29.

Walk, hike or bike throughout the mountain town to each of the movie-playing venues scattered throughout Crested Butte. In alignment with its organizational mission, the Crested Butte Film Festival selects bold, independent, high-quality films that invite personal, social, and environmental transformation.
