The 2016 Mask Project Luncheon
A benefit for The Denver Hospice
Friends, supporters, and staff of The Denver Hospice gathered in the Seawell Ballroom on September 28, 2016 for a luncheon benefiting The Mask Project.
The luncheon featured a video showcasing the extraordinary work that The Denver Hospice provides for our community, followed by a speech by Mitch Albom. Speaking to a sold out crowd of 635 guests, Albom recounted the weekly meetings with his college professor, Morrie, who was diagnosed with ALS. Those meetings inspired Albom’s best-selling book, Tuesdays with Morrie.

The total amount raised (so far!) from the 2016 luncheon and auction is $270,000.
The Mask Project, held biennially, is the internationally known fundraiser features hand-painted works from fine artists, musicians, athletes, celebrities, business leaders and more. To date, The Mask Project has raised more than $4.5 million to assist The Denver Hospice to care for all people in metro-Denver.
