The 16th Annual Uncorked Wine Tasting & Reserve

On the weekend of April 8, 2016, the Denver Art Museum hosted its 16th annual Uncorked Wine Tasting, a delicious sampling of wine, beer, and bites, and its Uncorked Reserve, the museum's annual spring fundraising event that pairs world-class art with fine wine.

UNCORKED WINE TASTING 2016

Over 300 wines were featured on the evening of Friday, April 8, 2016. Wine was accompanied by delicious fare from Kevin Taylor Catering.

UNCORKED RESERVE 2016

The always-lively Uncorked Reserve event was a hit on the evening of Saturday, April 9, 2016. The silent auction cocktail reception kicked off the evening, hosted in the museum's Duncan Pavilion. With a wide variety of wines, exclusive experiences, and luxury items, there was something everyone at the auctionand artistry was supported too, as the evening's funds go towards the museum's ground-breaking exhibitions and creative programming. Win-win!

This year's Reserve gave guests the opportunity to start or enhance their art collection through the purchase of a limited-edition print by internationally renowned conceptual photographer Daniela Edburg. Daniela's work will be featured at the Denver Art Museum in 2017, so keep your eyes peeled! Guests also bid on priceless experiences, unique travel packages, and exclusive access to private art collections, museum exhibitions, and museum curators.

Following the Reserve reception was a delicious seated dinner designed by Kevin Taylor Catering, which featured exquisite wine and drink pairings with each of the four courses.

NEW THIS YEAR: UNCORKED AFTERGLO

An addition to the schedule in 2016 was the Uncorked AFTERGLO, an entertaining night following the Reserve dinner, filled with live music for dancing, whiskey tasting for imbibing, and scrumptious bites for savoring. So much fun!
