Stanley Marketplace: Locally Inspired

...and Community Desired
From the Hip Photo

“Locally inspired and community desired.” This is the mantra for the sprawling Stanley Marketplace, a 140,000-square-foot, open-air, mixed-use urban market/hall that’s home to more than 50 Colorado-based restaurants, retail shops and artisan vendors, including Rosenberg’s Bagels, the Denver Biscuit Company, Comida street tacos, Sweet Cow ice cream and Yellowbelly fried chicken; Kindness Yoga, Endorphin fitness studio and Bounce kids gymnasium; plus a barbershop, a wine store, a brewery, an artisan grocer, a chocolatier, a coffee roaster, a florist, and women’s clothing and shoe stores.

Located on 22 acres in North Aurora (but really just across the street from Denver city limits in Stapleton), the former aviation manufacturing plant is swarming with families, hipsters and yoga moms. My favorite spot is Annette, a farm-to-table, fine-dining space opened by the former sous chef at Acorn. A complete list of stores can be found at stanleymarketplace.com.
