Paint the Town at the Cherry Creek Arts Festival This July

CherryArts dishes out another world-class event hosted in Cherry Creek North

Cherry Creek has never been a town to shy away from luxury or appreciation for the arts. From July 5 -7, 2019, the hot spot will host the annual Cherry Creek Arts Festival that’s full of impressive, high-quality artistry from around the globe, put on by non-profit organization, CherryArts.

The streets of Cherry Creek North will be transformed into a free plein air art gallery for attendees to navigate as they peruse the selection of masterful crafts on display while enjoying live music, libations and snacks.

With over 2,100 applicants annually, the CCAF hand-selects the best in the biz to showcase at the event and includes a wide variety of pieces from sculptures to photography, paintings to clothing, wood whittling to jewelry welding. 265 local and global artists will be on display this year.

New this year: local artist Nicole Banowetz will exhibit her unique inflatable large-sculptures that came to fruition through the help of 10 students as part of the CherryArts education initiative.

“Signature immersive art events, such as the Cherry Creek Arts Festival, create large-scale cultural engagement and provide an audience for delivering CherryArts’ year-round arts education programming,” said Tara Brickell, executive director and CEO of CherryArts. “Onsite, adults and youth are exposed to interactive art experiences, from engaging with, learning from and supporting working artists to creating art throughout the site.”
