Mayor Hancock Presents His 2015 Design Awards
Cutting-edge architecture and creative exteriors—that's what these awards are all about
Design centered around: the reuse of historic Denver buildings, the promotion of healthy living, the incorporation of multi-family and mixed-use developments, the unique character of their neighborhoods, and the overall ingenuity of the Denver spirit… That's what the Mayor's Design Awards are all about.
On Thursday, October 29, hundreds of people attended the presentation of the 2015 Mayor's Design Awards, hosted by the City and County of Denver. Out of 46 entries, 16 winners were chosen and recognized at the artful and intimate Chambers Grant Salon of the Ellie Caulkins Opera House. Mayor Hancock presented each award, and each group of recipients said a few words about their project and design endeavor. Take a look at the full list of 2015 Mayor's Design Award Winners.
After the award ceremony, guests mingled for drinks and snacks provided by Kevin Taylor's at the Opera House catering.
