Libations for the Deck

In the spirit of toasting, I’d like to share two Colorado-based beverages that make me smile every time I indulge. After tennis we often stop in at the fabulous Louisville establishment 740 Front for a beer. That’s where I first tasted Apricot Blonde from Dry Dock Brewing Co. It’s the perfect thirst-quencher with just a touch of tart and is not at all heavy or hoppy. Dry Dock’s description says to “combine with sunshine and friends for full effect.” I couldn’t agree more.

My friend Brian brought over a six-pack of Big B’s Cherry Daze Hard Cider when we were hosting a recent supper club. I am happy to report that those folks in Hotchkiss sure know how to hit their sour notes. I love it tart, and they deliver. Crack it open, kick your feet up and just say ahhh.
