HBF Pucks for Possibilities Scores Big at Ninth Annual Event
Philanthropists and hockey enthusiasts give back to the community
The ninth annual Home Builders Foundation’s Puck for Possibilities by Builders FirstSource gathered around 400 guests in downtown Denver for an evening of charity and ice hockey. This year’s event was the most successful to date, raising more than $60,000 for the non-profit on February 27, 2019.
The proceeds from the hockey-filled philanthropic event go directly to the Home Builders Foundation, whose mission is to give comfortability and accessibility through home modification for those who are physically disabled. By supporting the non-profit, HBF can continue to fulfill its mission to bring quality living to everyone in Colorado– regardless of their circumstances.
The night kicked off with an exhibition game with HBF builders and associates facing off against one another on the Pepsi Center ice. Viewers and players then gathered at Denver's quintessential sports bar, Brooklyn’s, for some networking accompanied by brews and bites. The night concluded back at Pepsi Center where sports fans got to cheer on the Colorado Avalanche while they secured a 3-2 win over the Vancouver Canucks.
All funds raised at Pucks for Possibilities will help the Home Builders Foundation meet their mission to build independence, provide opportunities and elevate lives for individuals and families with disabilities in our community.
