Grease is the Word in Parker
Rydell High School is back in session! Follow Dany Zuko and Sandy Dumbrowski back to their senior year of 1959 as they try to relive the high romance of their “Summer Nights,” but peer pressure and social norms make for a bumpy ride.
As they ‘burn up the quarter mile’ into a new era, will Sandy and Danny discover they go together or will he end up “Alone at a Drive-In Movie?”
With favorites like “Hopelessly Devoted,” “You’re The One That I Want,” and “Greased Lightnin’” you’ll rediscover why “Grease is the word.” So grab your leather jackets, T-Birds. Put on your bobby socks, Pink Ladies, and join us for this electrifying 50s-style musical at the Parker Arts, Culture and Events (PACE) Center!

Fans of the 1978 movie can expect to be pleasantly surprised with a few twists and turns that differentiate from the film, as this rendition is based off of the stage version of the Broadway show. If you especially love the music of the film, fear not, you will certainly hear some of those familiar favorites like “Grease (Grease is the Word),” “Hopelessly Devoted to You,” “Sandy,” and “You’re The One That I Want,” plus a few more from the original score with which you may not be familiar.
