Go & Do at Improper City

A community-gathering place in Denver's RiNo neighborhood complete with a food-truck park, beer garden and events space

For those who have been to north Boulder’s Rayback Collective, you know the deal: a hipster community-gathering place, complete with a food-truck park, music stage, fire pit, kombucha taproom, draft-cocktail program and coffee shop.

In July, owners Justin Riley and Hank Grant opened a similar concept in Denver’s RiNo neighborhood called Improper City, a larger, expanded version of Rayback that features many of the same elements, plus private areas for meetings and events, and tables aplenty for temporary workspaces. Improper City’s 12,000-square-foot patio is expected to open late this month. Think fire pits, picnic tables, outdoor games, and lots and lots of craft beer.
