DIY Cupcake Kits Delivered to Your Home

Get ready to embrace your inner Martha Stewart. Colorado-owned My Make Studio is bringing their sweet activity to your kitchen, with their Cupcake Sets that are shipping all over the country.

Encouraging creativity with confections, at-home bakers get all the materials and ingredients shipped to them (or picked-up curbside for Denverites) with myriad cake flavors such as vanilla, chocolate, red velvet and gluten-free options along with fondant and icing for decorating.

Husband-and-wife duo Linda and Jay Sudowski first opened their business in 2015 with a passion for cake-making classes. Their most recent location, in Edgewater Public Market, features an array of activities ranging from summer camps, cake decorating courses and gingerbread houses. Since then, their main focus is the newest addition to their menu: unique-themed cupcake sets accompanied by Youtube how-to’s shipped to your home, as a way to still connect with customers during the Coronavirus stay-at-home orders. 

“From the time we opened in March of 2015 we were an in-person activity. Once COVID 19 forced us to close our doors to the public we came up with the idea to launch our kits,” Sudowski says, “We wanted to send some of our creative passion out into the community that we love so much and before we knew it we were shipping nationwide.”

Bakers get to choose their flavor before frosting with flowers, animals or a decoration of their choosing, with guides provided for inspiration and technique. 

“We offer a YouTube tutorial to accompany every kit so you can learn how to make your cupcakes look professional. Of course we encourage adding your own spin to them as well,” Sudowski says.
