Clean Eating in the New Year

Just in time for the New Year and post-holiday indulgence recovery is Good Clean Food (GCF), a vegan and gluten-free meal-delivery service out of Aspen.

I ordered a week’s worth of meals from GCF and went through the entire thing in three days. So good.

Unlike typical prep kits, these meals are complete, including organic Buddha bowls, vibrant soups, superfood smoothies, crunchy salads, sweet treats and innovative entrées.

Started by two health-and-wellness pros in the Roaring Fork Valley, Lisa Cohen and Kelly Hollins, the company hand-delivers weekly to the Denver metro area, Boulder and Aspen. The meals are packaged in chic, sustainable glass jars, and the service includes delivery, chef videos and weekly pickup of the rotational packaging system.

I especially enjoyed the video menu, which walked me through everything in my bag and offered serving suggestions. Proof positive that delicious vegan is not an oxymoron.
