Battle of the Showroom Chefs
A Chopped-style event at Roth Living
Roth Living was a perfect showroom to host the NKBA’s Rocky Mountain Chapter 1st Battle of the Showroom Chef! Three appliance showroom Chefs battled it out in a Chopped-style event live and in-person on October 28th.
The NKBA Rocky Mountain Chapter Board hand-selected the secret basket ingredients which were bison sirloin, pumpkin, Romanesco, and marshmallow cereal.
The dishes were critiqued by three impartial judges in a secret room, where the chefs explained their dish and how they used each ingredient. The judges then tasted the dishes and voted based on taste, use of basket ingredients, and presentation.
Everyone who attended the event was also able to sample each dish. The winner this year was Roth Living Chef Ben Davis, who will get their name on the trophy and proudly have it on display in their showroom until next year and a new winner is crowned Best Showroom Chef.
