Babettes on the Move
The famous bakery relocated to Longmont and expanded its menu to include wood-fired pizza
What do you do if your successful business outgrows its space? Expand, of course! That's just what Catherine and Steve Scott did when their original location no longer accommodated their vision.

A quick drive north to Longmont will take you to their new spot with a new name, Babettes Pizza & Pane. The husband-and-wife duo started Babettes Artisan Bakery in 2013, serving up croissants and other tasty pastries to bread aficionados in The Source. Babettes was included on a list of the 21 Best Bakeries in America from Thrillist. After 5 years of baking and selling in tight quarters in an ever-growing Denver, the Scotts decided to cut their commute and expand their menu.

The Longmont shop now serves up killer wood-fired pizzas in addition to a selection of baked goods and small plates. "Our motivation is to create an unpretentious setting with incredible food, from French-inspired pastries to Italian-inspired small plates, wood-fired pizzas and cocktails." Catherine and Steve say.
The bakery is open Tuesday, 7 am to 6 pm, Wednesday through Sunday from 7 am to 9 pm. The pizzeria fires things up from 3 to 9 pm on Wednesday through Friday and 11 am to 9 pm on Saturday and Sunday. Happy hour for pizza and cocktails is Wednesday through Friday from 3 pm to 5 pm.
