Pantone, the renowned color authority for fashion and interior design, named Marsala as its 2015 Color of the Year. “Much like the fortified wine that gives Marsala its name, this tasteful hue embodies the satisfying richness of a fulfilling meal, while its grounding red-brown roots emanate a sophisticated, natural earthiness,” says Pantone’s executive director Leatrice Eiseman. Although ideal for dining rooms and bedrooms, we expect to see this warm hue just about everywhere.
