A Rundown of the 2018 HBA Colorado CARE Awards Gala

On September 27, 2018, the Home Builders Association of Metro Denver threw their annual gala highlighting the refurbishing skills of one-of-a-kind homes all across the state– and this year’s contestants did not disappoint. The Colorado Custom and Remodeling Excellence Awards (CARE) is the longest and largest running competition of its kind within Colorado, and showcases the immense talent through innovative and original home building plans.

The sophisticated Halycon Hotel Cherry Creek was this year’s destination to host a celebration of architects, custom homebuilders, landscapers, industry partners, and interior designers. Members and non-members of the HBA were invited for an evening full of lavish and cutting edge ideas, all provided by the works of applicants and winners involved in the competition. Colorado Homes & Lifestyles' Publisher and Gala Emcee, Holly Scott, presented the awards to esteemed small-business owners and large-scale design firms over the course of the ceremony. 

With up to 49 different categories, these residential and commercial properties brought unique craftsmanship from all over the state, ranging from Aspen to the Mile High City.
