A New Cutlery Outpost in RiNo

Self-proclaimed knife geeks and former Denver chefs Tina Chon and Craig Field have opened Carbon Knife Co., a new cutlery outpost in RiNo offering high-quality Japanese kitchen utensils for professional and home cooks alike. Hailing from restaurants Rioja, Stoic & Genuine, Telegraph and Table 6, Chon and Field are not ordinary salespeople; they are anxious to share their slicing chops and find the right knife or tool for each customer’s needs.
The store also stocks locally made chef aprons, unique tools, kitchenware, barware, cookbooks, vintage items, knife rolls and local coffee. If you’re hungry after shopping, head two blocks northeast to savor the delectables at Hop Alley (don’t miss the steamed eggplant), or knock down a cold beer and some grilled oysters at Kevin Morrison’s new Fish N Beer next door.
