The 2020 JDRF Dream Gala has been POSTPONED until further notice.
The world’s largest nonprofit funder for type 1 diabetes (T1D) research, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, is returning for another elegant black-tie Dream Gala.
With last year’s soiree raising nearly $900,000 and rallying in 500 guests, the event is expected to draw in even more donations with events including a cocktail reception; silent and live auctions; a multi-course dinner; and JDRF’s signature Fund A Cure program.
Hosted at the Hyatt Regency Denver at Colorado Convention Center, this year’s fundraiser will honor the Dodge Family and Tower Electric with fifty-year Denver radio personality Murphy Huston, serving as emcee and master of ceremonies.
Jack Dodge, 10, was diagnosed in October 2016 and has undergone hardships from wearing a glucose monitor to daily T1D. His grandfather, Tower Electric co-founder Rick Ellis, was also mis-diagnosed with type 2 diabetes for years before discovering it was T1D. With advancements supported by JDRF, T1D technology is continuing to evolve to help those struggling with T1D manage the disease with more control. The ceremony will pay tribute to them and their resilience in acclimating to the illness.
The JDRF Dream Gala will also celebrate the legacy of the late Patty Stephenson. Inspired by her belief that JDRF funded researchers will find a cure for diabetes.
If you or your company are interested in being part of this evening, sponsorships, tables and individual tickets are available.
