A Light-Filled Holiday Tradition
Embrace the holiday season with the 30th annual classic Colorado tradition
Throughout the year, the Denver Botanic Gardens shows off fantastical botany and masterful European horticulture techniques at which guests can marvel. But, in the wintertime the gardens are most known for the Blossoms of Light, where the greenery is transformed into a showcase of twinkling light bulbs for a yuletide walking tour.
Denver welcomes back this annual event from November 23 through January 1 for a holiday experience fit for guests of all ages. Expect to witness illuminated trees adorned with vibrantly colored lights while roaming through the outdoor tour. Warming drinks like hot chocolate and apple cider are available while gallivanting through the landscaping, as well as Christmas carolers serenading with traditional holiday tunes.
The continually evolving spectacle is bringing in even more state-of-the-art technology this year, with sound-reactive LED lights that evolve color schemes as patrons move past them.
Ranging from 25 minutes to one hour, guests may wander through the gleaming canopies of lights as long as their heart desiers. For more information and to reserve tickets, visit https://www.botanicgardens.org/events/special-events/blossoms-light.
