A Denver Artisan Boutique

Studio Colfax is a Denver artisan boutique run by sisters Rebecca and Sarah Tischler and their mother Marguerite Specht (the sisters’ father, Maynard Tischler, is a well-known ceramicist whose work is featured at the Denver Art Museum). Opened in 2014, the small gallery features fascinating finds from mostly local artists, designers, letterpress papermakers, jewelers, painters and home-goods creators.

Next door is Bar Max, a cool little café offering a progressive take on craft cocktails and a healthy but filling Euro-tapas lunch, dinner and bar menu.
