Every year, Pantone Color Institute selects a Color of the Year that coincides with trend forecasts and expert home decor insights. And 2016 is a year of firsts: Never before has Pantone chosen the blending of two shades—Rose Quartz and Serenity.
“Joined together, Rose Quartz and Serenity demonstrate an inherit balance between a warmer embracing rose tone and the cooler tranquil blue,” says Pantone’s Executive Director Leatrice Eiseman. “[These colors] reflect connection and wellness, as well as a soothing sense of order and peace.”
