In Full Bloom: Fête des Fleurs
A black-tie celebration of art, nature and 75 years at Denver Botanic Gardens.
Denver Botanic Gardens’ Fête des Fleurs is the black-tie highlight of the summer—a luminous evening of creative cocktails, elegant al fresco dining, and live music set amid a profusion of August blooms. This signature gala gathers more than 700 distinguished guests for a celebration that is as visually stunning as it is meaningful.
In honor of the Gardens’ 75th anniversary, this year’s event offers an especially memorable experience. The evening begins with a cocktail reception that invites guests to wander through a series of captivating garden spaces, each revealing thoughtfully curated vignettes from the exhibition Jaume Plensa: A New Humanism. Along the way, attendees can enjoy artfully prepared hors d’oeuvres, seasonal libations, and sweeping, gallery-worthy views of the Gardens in peak summer form.
Dinner unfolds across five unique locations throughout the Gardens, each offering its own distinct ambiance and a carefully crafted culinary experience. As twilight deepens, guests gather for dessert and dancing, with live music carrying the celebration into the night.
Fête des Fleurs is also a vital fundraiser, generating more than $600,000 annually to support the Gardens’ core programs, including children’s education, public outreach, horticulture, research, and conservation. Fête des Fleurs takes place Friday, August 28, from 6–11:30 p.m. at Denver Botanic Gardens. Tickets are available at botanicgardens.org.
