Every project is a unique story for clients of Aspen Design House – “their personal fairytale,” says founder and design director Denise Taylor, who, with senior designer Geneva “Gigi” Podolak Knox, brings to life “those spaces they’ve always dreamed of.” The duo’s love of storytelling pairs with a prestigious London fashion background for Taylor that fuels her fearless use of color, print and texture, the uber-creative bespoke details – in home designs from Aspen to Italy – that have gained her kudos as an interiors visionary.

The course of Taylor’s business has been a bit of a fairytale as well. Launching Aspen Design House during the pandemic to totally unexpected demand, “It was like all our dream projects hit at the same time.” One of those projects, Good Livin’ Ranch, 2023 Crystal Award for Residential New Construction, 5,000-10,000 Square Feet – a big award that assures this boutique Colorado firm’s own story is just beginning.
