3rd Annual Golf Classic at the Colorado Golf Club
Sunshine and warm weather are two ingredients for making a great summer day. Sprinkle in some golf on a first-class course, and you’re in for an unforgettable experience. The Denver Scholarship Foundation’s Third Annual Golf Classic presented by Arrow Electronics should be just that!
The event will be held at the prestigious Colorado Golf Club in Parker, CO, which was named one of the World’s top 10 new courses in 2007 by T&L Golf. It has since hosted the 71st Senior PGA Championship won by Tom Lehman, in addition to The Solheim Cup Matches that tested the top women golfers from around the U.S. and Europe in 2013.
GOLF Magazine named it the top new private course of the year when it debuted, and one of the “10 to Watch” worldwide in 2007. Take a virtual tour of this distinguished course!

ABOUT THE DENVER SCHOLARSHIP FOUNDATION
The Denver Scholarship Foundation has been a true force of good in the lives of young students in Denver since 2006.
Their mission:
Inspiring and empowering Denver Public Schools’ students to enroll in and graduate from postsecondary institutions of higher education by providing the tools, knowledge, and financial resources essential for success.
Their story:
Philanthropists Tim and Bernadette Marquez joined former Mayor John Hickenlooper and former Superintendent Michael Bennet in an effort to make access to higher education a possibility for all DPS students. Their initial efforts resulted in a $50 million pledge from the Marquez family in the form of a challenge grant. DSF began with a pilot program serving three Denver high schools, and the program expanded throughout the district by 2009.
