Kate Meyers Named Editor in Chief of Colorado Homes & Lifestyles Magazine
Dan Wiesner, WiesnerMedia’s chief executive officer, and Holly Scott, publisher of Colorado Homes & Lifestyles, announced today that Kate Meyers has been named editor in chief of Colorado Homes & Lifestyles, effective immediately. Meyers, an industry veteran with more than two decades of experience in the publishing industry, succeeds Mary Abel, who has left the publication after four successful years of service.
“I am delighted that Kate will be leading the editorial direction of Colorado Homes & Lifestyles and building upon our 35-year history as Colorado's home design authority,” Scott says. “Her extensive publishing experience and warm, personable approach make Kate the perfect fit as our new brand ambassador.”
“I am thrilled to join the team at Colorado Homes & Lifestyles,” Meyers adds. “I’m also madly excited to discover, celebrate and illuminate all things Colorado—especially the state’s rich culture of design, art and architecture.”
For the past 15 years, Meyers has been a feature writer for national magazines including InStyle, Real Simple, Ladies Home Journal, Parade, Cooking Light and Sports Illustrated. She has also held editorial roles at Travel & Leisure Golf magazine and Entertainment Weekly, and most recently served as editor in chief of the golf and lifestyle magazine In Play.
