Over the course of the last two months, the Home Builders Foundation (HBF) has monitored the COVID-19 situation closely and chose to pause all in-person program operations and projects back in March at the beginning of the outbreak.

However, since Governor Jared Polis announced the order shift to “Safer at Home,” HBF is now beginning to resume projects for home innovations for families in need.

“A special thanks to our clients for their patience, our Project Captains for their willingness to continue their work with us and all of our supporters for supporting us to ensure that social distancing won’t lead to social isolation,” Lauren Knudsen of HBF Denver says.

The 2020 HBF Annual Celebration, sponsored by Alpine Lumber, was recently canceled, but there are still ways to support Home Builders Foundation.

Despite the downswing, the foundation has kept busy by creating HBF-branded t-shirts and raised over $1,500. The funds raised will go toward their mission of free home renovations for those with disabilities.
