What the Editor is Loving: Art Strips & A Comfy Chair

Wallpaper is going through a fabulous renaissance right now, with modern-day takes on old patterns as well as completely new ideas that range from blown-up old masterworks to graffiti. Among the plethora of super fun collections at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair in New York, I found the work of Deborah Bowness.

COMFY CHAIR:
The VIA57 chair may be new as of this past spring, but it has all the makings of an icon. The design is the result of a partnership between the Republic of Fritz Hansen, Danish architect Bjarke Ingels and Danish design group KiBiSi.
The tetrahedral chair was created for the lobby and lounges of Ingels’ first New York City project, the VIA57 WEST building. The chairs’ rotated corners allow for multiple configurations. From $2,756; fritzhansen.com.
