The market in the mountains promises goodies, fresh food and views to boot
Summer is here with many an al fresco event to attend, and Vail, Colorado has a fabulous summer in store for you.
The Vail Farmers’ Market and Art Show is back with more than 135 vendors offering local produce, food and artistry on Sunday, June 16th and will run every Sunday through October 6, 2019 on East Meadow Drive.
The market’s Farm to Table Dinner Series will be held on July 12, July 26 and August 16.
“We are thrilled to return this summer with the weekly Farmers’ Market and the Farm to Table Dinner Series that showcase Vail’s local top chefs and farmers.” said Angela Mueller, Vail Farmers’ Market Executive Director. “The dinners offer a truly intimate culinary experience found nowhere else in the Vail Valley, and the market makes for a great outing for the entire family.”
Each Sunday from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm, market goers can enjoy fresh local produce, locally-sourced artisanal products, craft artwork, and live music in The Secret Garden. With more than 40 food vendors, guests can sample the area’s best food while browsing the market and enjoying the views of the Gore Range and the Town of Vail.
Enjoy a scrumptious meal outside on East Meadow Drive at the Farm to Table Dinners. The dinners will feature Vail’s most talented chefs cooking with the freshest ingredients from the fields of Colorado farmers in a multi-course meal. Taste of Vail participating wineries and craft beer is also included with each meal. The dinner runs from 6:00-8:00 pm, and spots are expected to sell out.
