The 2019 Home Builders Foundation Annual Celebration
The 2nd annual party was an evening full of elegance and philanthropy
For 26 years, the non-profit Home Builders Foundation has proven its dedication to improving lives through home modification. To commemorate these accomplishments, HBF hosted its second Annual Celebration for homebuilding professionals and philanthropists and raised up to $220,000 for the cause.
On June 6, the gala gathered up a full-house of industry pros at Glendale’s Infinity Event Center. Attendees participated in a silent auction and networking while raising funds for disabled families and renovation projects. The evening continued with an exciting live auction led by auctioneer Adam Kevil. Whether it’s installing accessible ramps throughout the home or bathrooms, all of the proceeds will go on to aid these charitable renovation projects.
Guests then enjoyed a program and paddle raiser while listening to stories of those who have been assisted by HBF. Colorado Olympic swimmer, Amy Van Dyken, served as the keynote speaker for the presentation and discussed the triumphs of her life after she was left paralyzed from an ATV accident.
Since 1993, HBF has aided those with physical disabilities and gave them the resources to make their homes accessible and comfortable– regardless of their financial circumstances.
