Join the Virtual Walk for Wishes

Over the past six months, much of our world has changed. We’ve had to adjust to working virtually, learning online, limiting our social interactions and taking extra precautions to protect our health and that of our loved ones.

While the mission of Make-A-Wish Colorado—to grant life-changing wishes to children with critical illnesses—has remained constant, the way in which the nonprofit raises funds has shifted to protect these vulnerable children and the entire community.

This year, Make-A-Wish Colorado is hosting its first ever virtual Walk For Wishes. The fourth annual Walk For Wishes, presented by 5DayDeal, will feature teams and individuals from across the state participating in their own activity the weekend of October 10th. Some will walk with neighbors, others will run with family and still others will share their solo walk/run online and via social media.

All these Walk Stars will be united by a common cause: to support Make-A-Wish Colorado in spreading hope and joy to the children across our state who need it the most.

It’s easy to get involved. Simply register for free online at www.walkforwishesco.org and then encourage friends, family and co-workers to join your team and begin fundraising.

On October 10th, Make-A-Wish Colorado will host an online event during which participants will have the opportunity to meet some of the wish kids and learn about the power of a wish®. As an added bonus, everyone who registers before August 31st will be entered to win a $200 Costco gift card.
