A Festival of Wishes

Travel the world at Make-A-Wish Colorado's family-friendly event

Grab the family and get ready for a fun summer adventure. On Saturday, June 16, 2018, from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm, the parking lot at the Make-A-Wish Colorado building in Greenwood Village will be transformed into a giant festival with fun activities for the whole family. Hosted by the Youth Leadership Council, the theme of the second annual Festival of Wishes is “Around the World!”

This family-friendly event includes fun and games for kids of all ages, like face painting, balloon animals, prizes, a DJ, classic carnival food and lots of wish magic. Each festival goer will receive a passport to fun that allows them to travel around the world with stops to engage in games and activities at various countries.

Tickets for the 2018 Festival of Wishes are $10 per person or $30 for a four-pack and include all games and activities. Food will be available for purchase. Proceeds from the Festival will help create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.

The Youth Leadership Council is comprised of 25 students from across the Denver metro area who are passionate about giving back and supporting the Make-A-Wish mission. The students plan, organize and manage the Festival from start to finish. Last year’s Festival of Wishes drew hundreds of fun seekers and raised $11,000 for Make-A-Wish Colorado.
