Make-A-Wish Colorado to Host Its Fourth Annual Whiskey, Wine & Wishes Event
Presented by Southwest Airlines, the fundraising event takes place May 7 to help grant wishes for Colorado children with critical illnesses.
Make-A-Wish Colorado will host its fourth annual Whiskey, Wine & Wishes presented by Southwest Airlines event on Thursday, May 7, at Mission Ballroom in Denver. The country-western themed celebration brings the community together for an evening of celebrating wishes, along with great food, signature cocktails, silent and live auctions, and a live country music performance – artist to be announced! Funds raised through the event will help Make-A-Wish Colorado grant more wishes for children with critical illnesses across the state.
More children than ever are waiting for a wish, and Whiskey, Wine & Wishes presented by Southwest Airlines plays a key role in meeting this growing need. Wishes provide children with hope and emotional strength at a time when they need it most. Research shows that a wish can be a powerful part of a child’s health care journey and can help them cope with the challenges of a critical illness. Community support through events like this allows Make-A-Wish Colorado to grant these life-changing experiences as quickly as possible.
During the program, Make-A-Wish will present its 2026 Wish Hero Award to AEG Presents in recognition of the organization’s long-standing support for wish kids. AEG Presents has helped bring joy, hope and unforgettable experiences to children through countless music-related wishes. President Brent Fedrizzi will accept the award on behalf of the organization.
Since its beginning in 1983, Make-A-Wish Colorado has granted wishes to more than 7,000 children with critical illnesses. Continued community involvement ensures that every eligible child in Colorado can experience the power of a wish.
