L’Esprit de Noël 2023: A Tour of Denver’s Most Attractive Homes
This delightful annual Holiday Tour open the doors to five beautifully decorated homes in the Park Hill neighborhood of Denver
The charming neighborhood of Park Hill in Northeast Denver serves at the backdrop of this year’s L’Esprit de Noël Holiday Home tour. In its 47th year, the festive holiday tradition features a walking home tour of five beautifully decorated homes in the historic neighborhood.
“Since 1976, L’Esprit de Noël has invited tour guests to see private homes of architectural interest decorated for the holiday season,” explains Lauren Crist-Fulk, Chair L’Esprit de Noel 2023. “Taking place in the Park Hill neighborhood November 17 & 18, L’Esprit showcases the talent of the area’s top florists and table designers, just in time for holiday decorating!”
The Park Hill neighborhood was selected for the tour due to its rich history. The neighborhood is one of Denver’s oldest, filled with tree-lined streets and stunning single-family homes and garden apartments. “Established in the late 1800’s and with development over multiple decades, the neighborhood exhibits significant diversity of architecture,” says Crist-Fulk. “From the early 1920s, Park Hill was an established neighborhood, one frequently characterized as amongst Denver’s most desirable places to live.”
Five beautiful homes decorated by Colorado’s most talented florists and table designers will be on display during the festive event. Proceeds from L’Esprit de Noël 2023 goes towards supporting the Central City Opera, including its annual professional summer Opera Festival, the Bonfils-Stanton Foundation Artists Training Program, the preservation and maintenance of the historic Opera House and twenty-seven additional historic properties in Central City, and its education and community engagement programs. “These programs serve more than 40,000 people each year through performances in schools, community centers, senior residences and theaters,” says Crist-Fulk.
Festive holiday music sung by the talented artists from Central City’s Opera House will fill the air at the events exciting kickoff party, ‘Twas the Night Before, held at Shaver-Ramsey Fine & Custom Rugs in Denver on Thursday, November 16th. Tickets for ‘Twas the Night Before are available for purchase, $100 to $250. Tickets for L’Esprit de Noël are available in advance for $50 for the Friday or Saturday tour.
