Devon's Story:
Seventeen magazine served as the dominant design theme in my Highlands Ranch bedroom. My collection of torn out pages became a personal style bible for daily accessorizing. I was ten at the time. Since then I’ve been a student of fashion– no Crocs or sweatpants for me. At 15, I attended the Yves Saint Laurent exhibit at the Denver Art Museum. That visit captured my heart and my imagination. It also sealed the deal for a lifetime of observation and appreciation for what works and why. I’m embarrassed but also secretly proud to say I was voted “Most Fashionable” at Mountain Vista High School. The beat goes on. These days, I’m an unapologetic collector of patterned pants, graphic band tees and oversized buttoned-down blouses.
