Kirkland Museum celebrates the March 2020 Month of Printmaking (Mo’Print) by featuring and explaining some of the processes used to create fine art prints. Founded in 2013, Mo’Print highlights the work of printmakers in Denver and the Front Range. A selection of prints by Colorado & regional artists from the Museum’s permanent collection will be on display including original printing blocks and plates, study drawings and printing equipment.

On Sunday, March 8, members of Art Gym, a Denver shared art workspace and creative environment, will be on hand for an exciting live printing demonstration at Kirkland Museum. Stop in anytime during the afternoon to witness working mobile print presses and ask questions of these local print artists, free with Museum admission. Visitors can get up close and personal to see the processes for lithography, intaglio and relief printing from start to finish. Have you ever wondered how a particular print was made? Come and find out on March 8.
