CH&L’s Stylemaker: Orly Eisbart
Founder of Orly Marcel, a spiritually inspired fine-jewelry line based in Denver, shares her 10 favorite things
Colorado Artist
Detour, aka Thomas Evans, a local artist who has created masterful pieces of art and building-size murals. We’ve collected several of his pieces, including a striking Buddha and a “BE A GOOD PERSON” canvas. His larger-than-life murals in River North (RiNo) combine hip-hop, bright colors and powerful messaging.
Workout Venue
For mind, body and spiritual nourishment, I go to Karma Yoga. Always grounding and meaningful, it’s my “chicken soup for the soul” via mindful movement. Katrina Gustafson’s classes are the perfect balance between spirituality and challenging flow. Karma Yoga, 1705 S. Pearl St., Denver.
Bag
My Bottega Veneta bag is an investment for sure, but it’s an heirloom. The Mini Loop Camera Bag is the perfect size to carry the essentials, including my Charlotte Tilbury lip gloss and Bottega Veneta gold leather wallet. Mini Loop Camera Bag, $1,950, Max, 250 Columbine St., Denver.
Colorado Jewelry Store
Element 79 is a Cherry Creek gem featuring highly curated local and global jewelry treasures. They are exclusive carriers of my Orly Marcel jewelry line, but also feature other amazing designers, such as European sensation Dries Criel and Colorado’s own Todd Reed. Element 79, 2703 E. Third Ave., Denver.
Shoes
Chloé makes a great boot called the Mallo Chelsea that I wear almost every day. I pair them with Mother jeans and my Elder Statesman Cashmere Cardigan sweater for the perfect outfit. Mallo Chelsea Boot, $1,050, A Line Boutique, 3050 E. Third Ave., Denver.
Skincare
I use the Senté skincare line to help maintain radiant and healthy skin. Their Dermal Repair Ultra-Nourish Créme ($179) is perfect for our dry weather, and their mineral tinted sunscreen ($38) with SPF 52 provides invisible protection from the strong Colorado sun.
Colorado Activity
Since I am a beach girl (born in Tel Aviv and raised in Miami), I gravitate toward warm-weather activities, especially hiking with my four kids, husband of 18 years and our pup. My go-to hiking trails near Denver are Lookout Mountain, right outside of Golden, and Staunton State Park near Conifer.
Colorado Nonprofit
Jewish Family Service (JFS Denver) is a nonprofit human services organization that serves anyone in need—regardless of circumstance or religious belief. JFS believes in a shared responsibility to support impactful changes throughout our community. This year’s fundraiser will be in Denver on May 8 with Martha Stewart as a presenter!
Clothing Designer
I really love the Nili Lotan collection for effortless, everyday luxury from an incredible Israeli designer. My favorite piece of hers is the Shon Pant, which I have in almost every color. They’re great for daily wear and look so stylish. Shon Pant, $375, Max, 250 Columbine St., Denver.
Sunglasses
For me, funky shades are where art meets fashion. Loewe are my favorite shades right now— they are funky, stylish and bold. Oversized Oval Sunglasses in Acetate, $380.
