A high-flying dance troupe makes its way to Colorado this summer for a spectacle of aerial artistry. BANDALOOP, a pioneer in vertical performance, re-imagines dance, activates public spaces and inspires wonder and imagination.

Based in Oakland, CA but performing for millions of people in over 22 countries in Europe, Africa, the Middle East, the Americas, and Asia, and on screens in films and digital media, BANDALOOP celebrates the human spirit through mind-bending dance. In addition to touring around the world, the company offers regular classes, camps, and intensives at its home studio and in the mountains, and team building programs for business executives.

The troupe heads to the Colorado high country for the Breckenridge International Festival of Arts (BIFA) for an indoor performance and two days of outdoor film shoots. From August 10-11, 2019, BANDALOOP will be a various locations around Summit County filming its intricate aerial choreography, and it's open to the public. Specific time and place will be announced closer to the filming dates. Check here for updates and information.

BANDALOOP's immersive indoor performance at BIFA will take place on August 16-17 at 11 am and 1:30 pm at the Riverwalk Center. The free event will feature a 30-minute performance with standing room and floor seating only. Be sure to get there on time as admission is first-come, first-served. 

You can find site-specific performances presented in theaters and museums, on skyscrapers, bridges, billboards and UNESCO Heritage sites, in atriums and convention halls, in nature on cliffs, and on screen in films and video content.
