A Meditative, Musical Hike In Boulder

MindTravel's musical journey into mindfulness comes to Colorado this August

It's no secret that music has the power to ease the mind, transport the listener and evoke emotional responses. For ages, music has both connected consumers and created space for individual expression, enjoyment and creativity.

Music, too, can inspire transformation. Murray Hidary, a composer, pianist, visual artist, tech pioneer, entrepreneur and physics lover, found solace in music after the tragic passing of his sister. Hidary harnessed the power of music to create MindTravel, an immersive music experience and a multi-sensory meditative journey.

MindTravel creates space for emotions and connection. It is an exploration of the idea that bringing music into our daily lives can radically improve our clarity, our ability to reflect and relax. MindTravel’s mission is to move people to greater purpose in their lives through music.

Hidary's musical movements take place in theaters, parks and museums, on silent walks along the beach or silent hikes in the mountains. The experiences allow you to be carried away by the feelings of freedom, connection and meditation.

Over the course of the MindTravel experience, you’ll join other attendees exploring the world's most beautiful gardens, parks and trails while guided by improvisational piano music music delivered through headphones.

MindTravel is coming to Boulder in August for SilentHike a transformative journey led by Hidary. After a short introduction and intention-setting, the group will venture forth on a guided meditative hike, taking in the incredible views of Realization Point for a contemplative and powerful creative journey—all while enveloped in the transcendent sounds of original MindTravel compositions.
