Bob Schultz's Favorite Things

The sales consultant of 22 years at Andrisen Morton men’s boutique in Cherry Creek shares his must-haves

Portrait by Matt Sayers

1. COLORADO ACTIVITY. I love to do anything outdoors, but I especially enjoy spending summers in Vail and cycling up Vail Pass. I also like to bike up Flagstaff Mountain in Boulder for the great workout and killer views.

2. CLOTHING DESIGNER. I am definitely a clotheshorse (comes with being in the business), but some of my current faves are Brunello Cucinelli for casual and Isaia for dress. Isaia has the most incredible fabrications for suits and sport coats. For the best-of-the-best handmade garments, Kiton is my go-to. Their sport coats are so special and unique.

3. T-SHIRT. Patrick Assaraf has the best, softest T-shirts out there. I own this tee in multiple colors. Crew-neck Pima Cotton Stretch T-shirt, $75;

4. RESTAURANT. Chili Verde in the Highlands has the most authentic Mexican food. My favorites are the house-made guacamole, ceviche and the Puerco en Chile Morita.

5. SOCKS. Marcoliani are Italian-made socks with great coloration that actually stay put during the day. Marcoliani Men’s Sorrento Stripe Cotton Socks, $30; at Neiman Marcus, Denver,

6. SHOES. I like anything from di Bianco, but their suede Chelsea boot is my all-time favorite. $895;

7. PET STORE. Chuck and Don’s in Cherry Creek has outstanding customer service, and Brooklyn, my French bulldog, loves their elk bones.

8. SUNGLASSES. All summer long, you’ll see me wearing Oliver Peoples’ Gregory Peck sunglasses. $365; from Europtics, Denver,, oliverpeoplescom

9. SKIN CARE. Truefitt & Hill. I use the facial moisturizer religiously, and it keeps me looking young-ish. Advanced Facial Moisturizer, $50;

10. WORKOUT CLOTHING. For any kind of workout outside of cycling, I wear Lululemon. For biking, I look to Pearl Izumi and Assos—they are both at the top for wicking fabrics and high performance.

11. WATCH. Rolex Daytona Steel 116520. I got mine from Steve Rosdal Jewelers in Denver, and I never take it off. Price upon request;,
